Comment:
Didn't test the tyres much on snow (not much real winter here this year) but there was 2-3 days of snow and the tyres performed well. They have also good grip/braking on dry and warm surface, wet is also good - can't really complain (comparing to previous summer Continental tyres the Vredestein behave same way). I expected them to be little more quiet but the noise is probably more due to british road surface (rough) than just tyres, however I use Michelin CrossClimate on a different car and these are more quite but also more expensive. Anyway, good tyres and I will probably buy them again. Certainly good choice for Scotland as it doesn't have really warm summer but winter can be sometimes snowy.

I have never used an all season tyre I felt safe with in the summer until i found these we live up a hill near to shops and come winter no one can get up unless winter tyres are used even 4x4s get stuck I roll up the hill with zero problem I always used to switch my wheels summer and winter even with cross season tyres as when it gets hot hot like it did last year the tyres generally become a lot less effective and dangerous in my opinion however these although they are not a sure footed as a summer tyre in the dry and heat they hold up very well and in the wet they seem to do very well in comparison but slush and snow these things are great just be careful who is behind you as they ain't stopping like you on snowy slushy roads
