Identify the size of your tyre
The exact dimensions of a tyre can be found on the sidewall printed mark. The graphic shows how to read properties and dimensions of the tyre:

SPEED INDEX:
The speed index indicates the maximum speed intended for the tyre. Up to this value, the manufacturer guarantees optimum operation with the appropriate tyre pressure. The maximum speed allowed for this vehicle is given in the vehicle owner's manual; this information can be used to select the appropriate speed index for the tyre. The speed index is the last mark on the sidewall of the tyre.
 
Load Index
Permissible maximum axle load per tyre in kg. To be found in the registration certificate or vehicle registration document or read directly from the tyre (two-digit number). It is permitted to fit a tyre with a higher load index.
 
Driving safety despite puncture
Runflat tyres are puncture-resistant tyres with reinforced sidewalls. This creates the so-called run-flat property. In the event of damage, this allows the vehicle to continue driving up to a distance of approx. 100 km (and even beyond depending on the product) at a maximum speed of 80 km/h, even if the pressure has been completely lost. Run-flat tyres even prevent the tyre rubber from jumping off the rim in the event of a loss of air pressure. A flat tyre is therefore still a flat tyre, but it loses some of its drama. Note: All run-flat tyres are marked with the symbol "RSC" (Runflat System Component) and may only be fitted in vehicles with a functioning air pressure control system!
 
Tyres with increased load capacity
Reinforced tyres are designed for higher loads than normal tyres. They can be identified by the designation 'RF' (reinforced) or also 'XL' or 'Extra Load'. They are used on vans, minibuses, off-road vehicles, etc. However, their mounting alone does not automatically result in higher load capacity but also requires a correspondingly higher air pressure. Furthermore, the load capacity index specified in the vehicle documents continues to apply.
 
Tyres with extra high load capacity
The "C" in the term C tyres stands for "commercial". These tyres are specially designed for commercial vehicles. These can be, for example, lighter trucks, delivery vans, flatbed trucks or panel vans. In other words: vehicles that have to move higher loads at a comparatively lower speed. The multi-ply reinforced C tyres are therefore even more load-bearing than reinforced tyres.
 
Mobility-optimised tyres
A tyre with a sealing layer on the opposite side of the tyre tread. In the event of a puncture (e.g. by a nail), this layer blocks any loss of air, even if the foreign body causing the puncture is still in the tyre. It is not necessary to stop or change the tyres immediately at the roadside.

I drive mostly in the city at low speeds however when taking to motorways in the UK I drive at 70MPH and in Europe at 75MPH. The drive is smooth and fuel economy is excellent, tyre wear is good and noise levels within the car is minimal.

Excellent safe and fun. You need to give warning when it won’t arrive for weeks before the customer pays though. I was stuck without something suitable. It’s not acceptable.

Having driven around fields and private roads from age 11, I passed my test at 17 yrs and 4 months. I have driven on 4 continents, raced and rallied for 20 years in the UK and towed a caravan for 35 years. I am now aged 79 yrs and only travel about 6000 miles per year. I choose Uniroyal for it's wet grip versus price, as a form of security against being caught out at my age!

I found this tire to be one of the best all round tires available. No matter the weather the car always felt sure footed. My Octavia was the Vrs model so had plenty of horsepower to transmit, and the Cross Climates made easy work of doing that. High speed driving was safe and quiet as was cornering. A fabulous tire! Only regret is the limited sizes because I can't get them to fit my Fabia Monte Carlo Estate else I would be running them on that as well.

The tyres have been very good in the snow, combined with the 4wd of my car, and in colder and wetter days they work very well. There is a greater noise with warmer days though and I think a slight drop in the mpg.

Fitted to the vehicle already when purchased.. They are an adequate budget tyre for perhaps city driving however they are poor in the wet. Lack any feedback in more active driving and in the wet have poor grip and braking performance with significant understeer in even damp conditions with even slightly 'active' driving. I've removed them off the car half worn and replaced with a premium brand as I'm not comfortable with their performance on mainly wet UK roads.

I bought these tires as a cheaper alternative to a Continental tire, because the grip in wet conditions was rated excellent. That seems to be true. This type of tire is designed for lower rolling resistance and increased fuel economy - often that comes with lower wet grip. Not in this case.

This is not a sport tyre, it's an exellent tyre for older family cars like my Corolla. Quiet, reliable, durable and really safe in dry or wet conditions. Actually, is as good as Firestone Multihawk(or better). Probably the best model from this manufacturer so far. If you are more agressive driver, buy something like Nokian i3, Uniroyal Rainexpert or other tyre from other well known supplier. Adam
