These tyres performed really well. I drove 79000km ( over 3 years 8 months) before changing them and they could still go a bit. Would definitely recommend.
02.04.2021fromBill
Very good grip in dry and wet, low wear, low noise, very low consuption, also, quite good and stable even in light snow. After 3 years noticed they get bit stiff than new, grip still is ok, I will keep them one more year, probably will buy same. In some countries they are sold as M+S instead of summer, car is very safe in light snow but a winter tyre is more suitable in these conditions

These tyres are good value and perform safely and well when used within legal parameters on UK roads. One slight negative is road surfaces can sometimes make tyre noise quite high but other than that I will definitely buy them again.
12.09.2024fromMichael
The tyres were 7/10 when I got them, the wet straight line grip is great the dry performance is above average. Quiet and comfortable tyres. The tyre wear is poor, I had new arms, tie rods, drop links and bushings as well as alignment done afterwards. The tyres showed excessive wear on the edge after only 8000 miles. I always check tyre pressure every week.

Excellent driving experience on these tyres. They feel safe, sturdy and solid on the road in heat, heavy rain, slippery roads due to mud, country roads, uneven and good surfaces, I have not yet tried in snow or ice. To any walkers reading this, they feel like vibram soles for my car!

tyres only have well below normal 6.5mm tread from new and mine were worn down to 4.1 mm tread after 400 miles plus one developed a bulge. Worst tyres ever only have perhaps 1 years life

First time use Maxxis tyres, has worn on front wheels. Can’t believe that tyres from budget class, for me a lot better than previous Uniroyal Rainsport 3. Quality to price, definitely recommended, probably will use again.
01.02.2019fromRichard
These tyres are quiet and grip well in the dry. They also brake well in the wet too and have good aquaplaning resistance. Fuel economy is fine too. However, on a wet road when going around a roundabout at anything over 25mph they loose lateral grip and the car slides sideways. If you push on the power then they completely break off and the car understeers. I am used to it now and drive gently but could be a bit dangerous for those who aren't experienced drivers. Also on cold damp roads they lose traction at low speeds when turning full lock in a manouvere, sending the ESP system off. I am disappointed because of this and won't buy again or recommend.
26.01.2019fromAlan
The worst fault i have found with these tyres are cornering. Even at relatively slow speed the vehicle slides, giving up grip rather easy. They remind me of a set of Falcons a purchased a few year back. Not good. Apart from that, an all round decent cheap tyre. Previous tyre i had on Accord were Michelon. A hard act to follow but at £185 a corner !!!!

Slightly noisier at low speeds than I had expected (my Cooper winter tyres are quieter) although the relative noise abates at higher speeds. They're pretty firm on bumpy roads where I drive most often. Superb for motorway driving in terms of low noise and excellent ride comfort.
01.08.2020fromRob
Great wearing tyre, plenty of grip in the wet and dry. Wearing better the Goodyear F1's I had on the car before. Will definitely buy again.
29.04.2020fromMr Doorbar
These tyres were OE on my 2017 Passat Estate so I stuck with the same when it came to replacing the fronts. I'm still on the original rears. The fronts did around 24K miles while the tread left of the rears gives me around another 10K at least. However, the tyres walls on the rear have slight cracking even though they haven't been curbed and if get worst it will become an MOT failure at the cars first MOT this year. The one area where these tyres are weakest are the road noise. I'm sure there are quieter tyres out there but they may be weaker in other areas. On the whole these Pirellis are more than suitable for any family car.
15.01.2019fromGlynne Gianelli
Seems quieter and more comfortable. Grip very good and economy improved as well.

Michelin summer tyres – a brand we all know

Originating from France, the Michelin Tyre Company Ltd was established in the UK back in 1905, and is now involved in a range of activities related to the travelling public. There are thousands of distributors around the UK that supply Michelin tyres, and every tyre is meticulously designed and precision engineered for that consistent Michelin excellence. There is no tyre brand that has done more to shape the history of motoring and transport in the UK than Michelin.

Michelin summer tyres that make their mark

The Michelin Primacy 4 is a popular choice, with outstanding braking performance and unmatched longevity. Treadwear innovations allow the tyre to last up to 11,000 miles longer than the nearest competitor. Alternatively, you could go with the Energy Saver+, which offers supreme fuel efficiency and low rolling resistance without sacrificing road grip and braking performance. The tread pattern technology is patented, and Michelin’s own silica compound helps tyres last up to 6,000 miles beyond the average.

If you’re after something for a sports car, try the Pilot Sport 4. It is known for precise steering thanks to a revolutionary rubber compound only Michelin has, and the grip is outstanding on wet and dry surfaces. For something a little bit different, check out the CrossClimate tyre. These are the first summer tyres that come with winter certification, meaning you can keep them in use all year round without fear of sacrificing performance.

Why Michelin summer tyres are industry leaders:

  • Michelin poses itself the ongoing ‘Total Performance’ challenge, wherein engineers push themselves to improve on dry and wet performance, braking performance with fuel efficiency, with superb grip and longevity.
  • Award-winning performers: Michelin tyres have received 25 awards in the last 3 years alone, from leading experts like Auto Express, Auto Plus, Auto Sport and Auto Bild.
  • Michelin strategy is designed to develop sustainable mobility solutions which limit environmental impact in all areas of production and performance.

Michelin is an established brand of consistent quality

Few companies can say they have existed for more than 100 years and remained at the pinnacle of their industry for almost the entirety of their existence. When you choose Michelin summer tyres, you get unique technologies that guarantee performance and longevity. At www.tyres-guru.co.uk we know tyres, and Michelin is a highly recommended brand.
