make a test. swich off the engine, windows down, let the car roll and just listen this incredible tyre sound... the worst tyres i had ever. (the noise starts at about 5km/hr).

The most expensive conti's I've ever purchased (x4) Ouch!! I've bought a lot of other conti's in the past. Inc Sportcontact & Uniroyal tyres. Ecocontact5 are noisy, very average grip levels in wet & dry conditions. Poor wear levels for a so called eco tyre :-( Neither do I like the feel of them during cornering. I will not buy these budget/mid range level tyres again. I really don't have anything positive to say about these tyres. Apart from when I'm going to change them. Buy another mid range tyre instead or even a budget & save money ;-)

These tyres are good value and perform safely and well when used within legal parameters on UK roads. One slight negative is road surfaces can sometimes make tyre noise quite high but other than that I will definitely buy them again.
12.09.2024 from Michael
The tyres were 7/10 when I got them, the wet straight line grip is great the dry performance is above average. Quiet and comfortable tyres. The tyre wear is poor, I had new arms, tie rods, drop links and bushings as well as alignment done afterwards. The tyres showed excessive wear on the edge after only 8000 miles. I always check tyre pressure every week.

These tyres performed really well. I drove 79000km ( over 3 years 8 months) before changing them and they could still go a bit. Would definitely recommend.
02.04.2021 from Bill
Very good grip in dry and wet, low wear, low noise, very low consuption, also, quite good and stable even in light snow. After 3 years noticed they get bit stiff than new, grip still is ok, I will keep them one more year, probably will buy same. In some countries they are sold as M+S instead of summer, car is very safe in light snow but a winter tyre is more suitable in these conditions

Exceptional behaviour in wet .Good in dry conditions but not for extremely fast driving. Excellent breaking properties. Very high mileage!!
07.03.2022 from Patricia
Terrible grip especially on wet - went sliding on a roundabout with slow speed. Simply doesn’t grip on the road well. I have tried several tyres in my driving time but these sadly are one of the worst purchases I’ve made. I was hopeful as it’s Goodyear but it’s a huge disappointment. Don’t waste your money on this. The noise isn’t too bad, but fuel consumption is poor and so it’s the grip!
26.01.2022 from R
Nearly perfect road tyre in my opinion. I usually drive sensibly, but often "spirited" and found no major downsides, grips really well. ~2000 miles so far I don't see any wear at all (unlike the budget tyres I had before). The only drawback was going through puddles at speed, but I think that's more my car lacking a limited slip diff.
07.11.2021 from Krzys
I used to own Primacy 4's which I liked very much, but pricewise 4'were too expensive. I think Goodyear Efficient Grip 2 are very comfortable tyres. They produce less internal noise when compared to Primacy 4's. Also Goodyear Efficient Grip 2 are softer and less precise (just by marginal difference) than Primacy 4's. Overall I like Goodyear Efficient Grip 2 very much and I think these are safe, comfortable and well pierced premium tyres. I'll buy these tyres again for sure. I would say I should do around 45,000 km in this tyres (front axle) seeing current usage (1.3mm) after 8,500 km.

Superb tyres and a good price.
14.10.2010 from Steve the audi driver
Had two sets of these on my previous car (Vw bora) and now on the A4. Always impressed for the price, drive as good as they look, replaced a set of ageing continental contact sport 3 that were terrible !
24.06.2009 from Neil Baldwin
Very very good tyre. Not quite as much outright grip as the new Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric but longer life and quieter.
20.11.2008 from frog
much better wet grip than my last set of p6000s. will buy again

These Trazano Z107 tyres were initially adequate as budget tyres but over time they have become noisy at speed and wet grip is now atrocious - with 5mm of tread still on the tyre. A regrettable purchase. I will revert to my usual Pirelli Cinturato which performed admirably right down to the tread wear markers. Lesson learned.

Kleber summer tyres – viva la revolution!

French tyre manufacturer Kleber celebrated its centenary in 1910. Its history is intertwined with significant events in the history of the tyre industry; in 1951, Kleber was responsible for the revolutionary inner tube for tyres. Kleber ranks highly among European consumers thanks to this rich history of innovation. They consistently meet 3 fundamental demands: safety, durability and driver comfort. Its philosophy is one of perfectionism, and just 3 years ago Kleber invented a new water drainage system for modern tread patterns: the Dynaxer DR.

Top Kleber summer tyres for your attention

One of the constant favourites from Kleber is the Dynaxer range, and the Dynaxer Hp3 is a firm recommendation. Its performance on dry roads is exceptional, with outstanding grip for precise cornering and steady handling. For its price, the quality trumps the competition, and the driving comfort and longevity are the icing on the cake. Alternatively, the Viaxer is a great choice for a comprehensive approach to safety. Densely siped shoulder blocks deliver great traction, and the asymmetric tread pattern combines with a solid sidewall for exceptional safety on wet and dry roads. Aquaplaning is minimised thanks to the longitudinal and circumferential grooves.

If you’re after Kleber summer tyres that perform particularly well on those rainy summer days, then the Hydraxer is the way to go. It performs well in all conditions, but comes into its own with its aquaplaning resistance and tread design for expelling water rapidly. There are even mini-bridges in the grooves to avoid the build-up of water where grooves cross over. Expect brilliant stability and short braking distances, and low noise output due to the special tread compound.

The famous Kleber boxer: what does it represent?

  • The boxer is a breed of dog whose physical and psychological qualities match the physical and technical qualities of Kleber tyres.
  • The boxer keeps its master safe, and defends him if there is danger.
  • The boxer gives a clear warning before reacting – it remains in control, never losing its head.
  • The boxer is solidly-built, flexible, mobile, fast, agile, thoroughbred, elegant and reliable – just like Kleber tyres!

Kleber is always a safe option

We know our tyres over at www.tyres-guru.co.uk, and we truly believe in the boxer as the Kleber mascot. With Kleber summer tyres, you’re in good hands.
