Summer tyres - optimal grip guaranteed!
On dry roads or mild weather, your tyres have to face some increased demands and must always meet safety standards. Compared to winter tyres, the rubber mixture of the summer tyres is harder, even in high temperatures. Identify the size of your tyre
The exact dimensions of a tyre can be found on the sidewall printed mark. The graphic shows how to read properties and dimensions of the tyre:

SPEED INDEX:
The speed index indicates the maximum speed intended for the tyre. Up to this value, the manufacturer guarantees optimum operation with the appropriate tyre pressure. The maximum speed allowed for this vehicle is given in the vehicle owner's manual; this information can be used to select the appropriate speed index for the tyre. The speed index is the last mark on the sidewall of the tyre.
 
Load Index
Permissible maximum axle load per tyre in kg. To be found in the registration certificate or vehicle registration document or read directly from the tyre (two-digit number). It is permitted to fit a tyre with a higher load index.
 
Driving safety despite puncture
Runflat tyres are puncture-resistant tyres with reinforced sidewalls. This creates the so-called run-flat property. In the event of damage, this allows the vehicle to continue driving up to a distance of approx. 100 km (and even beyond depending on the product) at a maximum speed of 80 km/h, even if the pressure has been completely lost. Run-flat tyres even prevent the tyre rubber from jumping off the rim in the event of a loss of air pressure. A flat tyre is therefore still a flat tyre, but it loses some of its drama. Note: All run-flat tyres are marked with the symbol "RSC" (Runflat System Component) and may only be fitted in vehicles with a functioning air pressure control system!
 
Tyres with increased load capacity
Reinforced tyres are designed for higher loads than normal tyres. They can be identified by the designation 'RF' (reinforced) or also 'XL' or 'Extra Load'. They are used on vans, minibuses, off-road vehicles, etc. However, their mounting alone does not automatically result in higher load capacity but also requires a correspondingly higher air pressure. Furthermore, the load capacity index specified in the vehicle documents continues to apply.
 
Tyres with extra high load capacity
The "C" in the term C tyres stands for "commercial". These tyres are specially designed for commercial vehicles. These can be, for example, lighter trucks, delivery vans, flatbed trucks or panel vans. In other words: vehicles that have to move higher loads at a comparatively lower speed. The multi-ply reinforced C tyres are therefore even more load-bearing than reinforced tyres.
 
Mobility-optimised tyres
A tyre with a sealing layer on the opposite side of the tyre tread. In the event of a puncture (e.g. by a nail), this layer blocks any loss of air, even if the foreign body causing the puncture is still in the tyre. It is not necessary to stop or change the tyres immediately at the roadside.

Original equipment quality: optimum adjustment to the vehicle
Tyres with a special OEM marking on the sidewall, e.g. "MO" for Mercedes-Benz, were developed in cooperation with a specific car manufacturer and the tyre industry. These tyres have been homologated by the vehicle manufacturer and are a perfect match for a specific model. They have been specially designed to highlight or further improve the performance characteristics of the car in question, thus representing the culmination of a state-of-the-art fine-tuning process that perfectly complements the latest technological developments in the automotive industry. Tyres with manufacturer's markings can of course also be used on other vehicles.

Tyres had side sway when changing lanes. 1st blowout on 20000 2nd blowout on 30000 and at 40000 last remaining Tyres has wall cracks in inside walls of rear Tyres. Definitely a tyre manufacturer problem. Dealer and supplier is saying I overloaded the tyre and drove on flat tyres. The remaining two tyres are available for evaluation.

These tyres are good value and perform safely and well when used within legal parameters on UK roads. One slight negative is road surfaces can sometimes make tyre noise quite high but other than that I will definitely buy them again.

The tyres were 7/10 when I got them, the wet straight line grip is great the dry performance is above average. Quiet and comfortable tyres. The tyre wear is poor, I had new arms,tie rods, drop links and bushings as well as alignment done afterwards. The tyres showed excessive wear on the edge after only 8000 miles. I always check tyre pressure every week.

I would not recommend these for any spirited driving. Comfort and noise are fine, but lack of grip in both dry and wet conditions.

This Falken tyre joined one we already had which was removed from the front axle when a pair of all weather tyres were fitted. The Falken pair have now replaced two top manufacture premium items that had completed 42,000 kms on the rear axle and were evenly worn. We have noticed no difference in performance, noise or economy across all of the star ratings mentioned and so would recommend them from our experience in a non drive rear axle fitment.

Bought to replace Pirelli PZ-Nero's that no longer made in this size. After lots of research went for these as great price. Are so much better in wet. Feel confident going through standing water now. Has much better hold and braking. Given weight and power of the mustang sure will work on any car. Will buy again.

Amazing tyres, grip is excellent, comfort and noise are excellent. the only thing i can fault is that the wear isn't anything special. Down to 4mm after 6000 miles. My tyre size is 245/35R18 but tyretest will not let me add the correct size above.

Excellent tyres chosen via the reviews by Jon @ tyrereviews.co.uk - they faired very well against the likes of the Michelin PS5s and at the time of buying (Feb2023) the Goodyears were £250 cheaper than the PS5s; but more or less neck & neck with them in the tyre review! That swung the decision for me, more so with the money saving!

Car Driven : BMW 425D 225Hp . Quite quietly from the start until the first 10,000 km they kept a relatively low noise level until the end of their lives. Relatively comfortable especially considering that is a runflat tire. The tire tread still retains its original groove and design but has significant wear points on both edge and there are some small tire detachments. In the few rains we have in Greece it never had a hadling problem or breaking and did not create any feeling of insecurity. in short it is a good quiet tire ROF tire, comfortable and efficient in fast driving.
