I changed tyres from Conti Premium and I am preete happy with Hankook. It is also a premium tyre.
22.05.2020fromPieter
The biggest problem with these tyres ar that they do not have rip protection. I have been using Hancooks on my previous car, so when looking for tyres for my current car, Hancooks came to mind. I had a better driving experience with the tyres that I replaced.
06.12.2019fromWhite
These tyres give a superb quiet ride. I also have these tyres fitted to the front of my vehicle, which have now completed 45,000 km and the wear is every bit as good as the Michelin tyres they replaced. Although I do not drive in an aggressive manner I have not noticed any detriment in road holding or fuel consumption.

13.04.2024fromGeof Wassell
Driving within my own ability and the ability of the vehicle I choose to drive is what I do. The tyres on my car are part of the interface between driver and road. I prefer to drive with the tyres fully inflated in order to feel the feedback from the surface of the road through noise, suspension and steering, I ballance throttle and brake response with weather conditions, road conditions and temperature. Tyres with less grip just dictate that I should moderate speed and braking at an increased rate. Noisey tyres provide slightly better feedback than silent tyres. The road with current traffic congestion burden isnt the place for performance spirited driving but is the place where defensive driving must be used. I would describe my tyres as competent.

I have tried virtually every chinese built tyre over the years on my classic mini and they dont last more than 5000 miles. The rubber compound is too soft, I get through at least one set of tyres a year. They were cheap but are now getting more expensive. Tyres from mytyres are shipped from germany, not oxford, and mine took 6 weeks to arrive...

In comparison to other Hankook tyre types i've used over the years these were terrible verging on dangerous in respect to grip whilst breaking in all conditions. I have removed these tyres and reverted to the part worns previously fitted. There is something very wrong with the compound of these tyres.
20.10.2023fromGary Lyford
Grip always feels good, very impressed with how they deal with standing water on fast roads.

Driving reponse good with low road noise.

Fitted to a 1978 Dolomite Sprint for a European endurance run. Great grip and braking - very confident drive through the Alps and on some of those crazy European motorway interchanges with tight turns. Very pleased with these tyres and will busy again for this vehicle and the modern!

Quality Summer Tyres 205 55 R16. Optimal handling and reduced noise

For a good driving experience, it’s essential to have tyres of the right quality. The type of tyres you choose for your car are dependent on the season. Here are some factors you may want to consider when shopping for the best 205/55-R16 summer tyres.

Safety

Tyres are the most important component of your car. They are the one that create traction and determine your car handling. You need to ensure that your tyre threads are intact in order to have a good grip on all roads. Good tyres should be able to expand and contract with ease depending on the changes in weather during summer. It can get really hot during the day and get cold at night. Your tyres should be able to adjust appropriately.

Speed

The size of your tyres relative to your car determine the optimal driving speed. Tyres in the category size 205/55- R16 are suitable for sedans and saloon cars such as BMW, Mercedes and Mazda. They provide a good base for stability, giving you optimal handling and allowing you to drive at high speed without any problems. For instance, the total diameter for this particular tyre is 24.877 inches, suitable for high speed.

Grip

This aspect is dependent more on the tyre threads, but the size also plays a pivotal role as it determines how the tyre sits on the road. It is important that your tyres have good grip to enable you to negotiate sharp bends and to prevent skidding.

You can always get these tyres online at www.tyres-guru.co.uk.
