Aquaplaning prevention

Aquaplaning occurs when a layer of water builds between tires and the road surface when driving in wet conditions and especially at high speeds. Aquaplaning is as dangerous as driving on ice. WIDE CIRCUMFERENTIAL AND DEAD-END GROOVES efficiently expel water from under the footprint. KNOBS WITH TINY GROOVES cut the water layer, enhancing traction with a wet road surface.

Tough lateral side

There is an increased risk of damaging the lateral side of the tyre in summer

Protection of the lateral side at molecular level. THE UNIQUE RUBBER MIX COMPOSITION (a high structure carbon black combined with Santaflex 6 PPD – a protective group against weather and ozone-induced ageing) ensures protection against lateral hits and cuts, maintaining the side lugs elasticity.
