All season tyres - suitable for all weather conditions
All-season tyres are the perfect combination between summer and winter tyres. All-season tyres impress by their good driving qualities regardless the weather conditions and the road. The specially developed profile of all-season tyres ensures a comfortable drive throughout the whole year. All-season tyres were specifically designed for all weather conditions thus eliminating the need to change the tyres depending on the season. Discover the new alternative to summer and winter tyres: the all-season tyres. We have a wide offer from leading manufacturers at top prices! The all-season tyres designed for winter conditions need to have the "M + S" marking (or M & S, MS). Some models may also have the snowflake symbol. M + S tyres with snowflake symbol meet the higher quality standards.
 
Identify the size of your tyre
The exact dimensions of a tyre can be found on the sidewall printed mark. The graphic shows how to read properties and dimensions of the tyre:

SPEED INDEX:
The speed index indicates the maximum speed intended for the tyre. Up to this value, the manufacturer guarantees optimum operation with the appropriate tyre pressure. The maximum speed allowed for this vehicle is given in the vehicle owner's manual; this information can be used to select the appropriate speed index for the tyre. The speed index is the last mark on the sidewall of the tyre.
 
Load Index
Permissible maximum axle load per tyre in kg. To be found in the registration certificate or vehicle registration document or read directly from the tyre (two-digit number). It is permitted to fit a tyre with a higher load index.
 
Driving safety despite puncture
Runflat tyres are puncture-resistant tyres with reinforced sidewalls. This creates the so-called run-flat property. In the event of damage, this allows the vehicle to continue driving up to a distance of approx. 100 km (and even beyond depending on the product) at a maximum speed of 80 km/h, even if the pressure has been completely lost. Run-flat tyres even prevent the tyre rubber from jumping off the rim in the event of a loss of air pressure. A flat tyre is therefore still a flat tyre, but it loses some of its drama. Note: All run-flat tyres are marked with the symbol "RSC" (Runflat System Component) and may only be fitted in vehicles with a functioning air pressure control system!
 
Tyres with increased load capacity
Reinforced tyres are designed for higher loads than normal tyres. They can be identified by the designation 'RF' (reinforced) or also 'XL' or 'Extra Load'. They are used on vans, minibuses, off-road vehicles, etc. However, their mounting alone does not automatically result in higher load capacity but also requires a correspondingly higher air pressure. Furthermore, the load capacity index specified in the vehicle documents continues to apply.
 
Tyres with extra high load capacity
The "C" in the term C tyres stands for "commercial". These tyres are specially designed for commercial vehicles. These can be, for example, lighter trucks, delivery vans, flatbed trucks or panel vans. In other words: vehicles that have to move higher loads at a comparatively lower speed. The multi-ply reinforced C tyres are therefore even more load-bearing than reinforced tyres.
 
Mobility-optimised tyres
A tyre with a sealing layer on the opposite side of the tyre tread. In the event of a puncture (e.g. by a nail), this layer blocks any loss of air, even if the foreign body causing the puncture is still in the tyre. It is not necessary to stop or change the tyres immediately at the roadside.

These tyres replaced Continental Contact tyres that were 8 years old, still had some tread on them but the sidewalls were cracking. We wanted All-Season tyres because the roads around us are slippery with mud in the winter. Very happy so far, there is a particular stretch of road we would avoid because the Contis set up a cabin resonance at about 300Hz and with the Celsiuses the noise is much reduced. Ride comfort is a bit better, dry and wet grip seems to be slightly better and muddy road grip is definitely better. Fuel consumption on our A/B/C road journeys is about the same. Can't properly comment on snow grip as we haven't had any, but Tyretest.com insist we put in a rating! With regard to my experience of the life of Toyo tyres, I fitted a set of Toyo Proxes TR1-R to my Mazda MX-5 eight years ago and they show no sign of cracking. I would buy these again if they were available at the competitive prices I was able to obtain on mytyres.com. Delivery was fast with no ciustoms delays ....which is of course now a risk for any tyres not already in a UK warehouse than to the post-Brexit need for customs paperwork.

I drive predominantly on dirt tracks and the tyres have held there own esspecially for the price. I wanted to get a tyre that was good on road also. With 2 younger children i wanted the ability to stop and control in the wet. Very good tyre and very little wear for the usage. Will buy again next year.

Piacevolmente impressionato, gomme silenziose, consumi bassi e ottimo grip. Per una guida 80% extraurbana e 20% cittadina con andatura tranquilla sono veramente ottime. Magari le crossclimate della Michelin saranno più performanti, ma a questo prezzo è difficile trovare di meglio.

Sticks well to the road on corners in all conditions at all speeds. Gives confidence. Tyre is 225/40 R18. Not size available in drop down menu here. Built in kerb protection is welcome on such low profile tyres. Good value tyres, have used this brand for years over about 500,000miles with no issues, lasting 30000 miles plus on drive axles and had 66000miles on trailing rear axle pair!

Originally on rear axle for approx 2 k miles, no wear at all. Now on front axle, grip and feedback in wet and dry in great, including on gravelly / light muddy patches in country parking areas and in cold weather. Most impressive aspect of the Vredesteins is the directional stability ( steering centring) and also quietness on the front axle compared to the neatly new Nankang all weather tyres that were on beforehand. No snow this year so not tested on snow! Highly recommended.

Most of my driving is on country roads with varying conditions dry , wet , muddy and in winter snow and ice thrown into the mix . These tyres have handled everything and performed great for the price. Have had branded tyres before fitting these which cracked and perished and did not last as long .

In damp or wet on corners they handle very well but certain tarmac can feel it slide abit but not enough for you to panic but enough for you to know to back off Dry does very well like Midrange tyres depending what power car you got of course But got them on very cheap offer compare to other midrange all season they around £150 and I got theses from £130 to £98 if they wasn't on offer I wouldn't of brought them and if they needed replacing would I buy them again depends they don't go higher then £100 otherwise I get midrange tyres

I found this tire to be one of the best all round tires available. No matter the weather the car always felt sure footed. My Octavia was the Vrs model so had plenty of horsepower to transmit, and the Cross Climates made easy work of doing that. High speed driving was safe and quiet as was cornering. A fabulous tire! Only regret is the limited sizes because I can't get them to fit my Fabia Monte Carlo Estate else I would be running them on that as well.
